Developing
High Performing Teams

Great collaboration doesn't just happen by itself.

It requires clarity, mutual understanding, and the willingness to unconditionally trust as a team.

I support teams and leadership teams in developing their collaboration – with a special focus on high-performing teams, communication, and mutual understanding.

I don't use a standard program. After a briefing with you, I design the appropriate workshop or development process – tailored to your situation and your goals.

What truly makes a team high-performing?

Highly competent individuals do not automatically make a highly effective team.

What matters is how people work together:

How clear is the common mission?

How are different perspectives used?

How does the team communicate – especially when things get challenging?

And how can we succeed in taking on shared responsibility?

Together we create space for these questions – always with a view to the specific business context of the team.

What working with teams can be about

High Performing Teams

What makes us effective as a team? Where do we stand today and where does further potential lie?

Communication and collaboration

How do we communicate with each other? How do we deal with different communication styles? And how can we improve our mutual understanding?

Using different perspectives

How can different personalities, experiences, and perspectives become a strength of the team?

Common orientation

What unites us as a team? What do we expect from each other? And how do we jointly take responsibility for our results?

The specific focus is determined by the briefing and the team's situation.

From the workshop on sustainable development

I understand leadership development as a journey – not as a one-off workshop.

A day spent together can provide important impetus. However, sustainable development only arises when insights are taken up, tested, and further developed in everyday life.

Therefore, a collaboration can consist of, for example, an initial workshop and subsequent follow-ups.

What was tested?

What worked?

Where have old patterns resurfaced?

And what is needed for the next step?

In this way, a single workshop becomes a development process, oriented towards the team's everyday work.

Tailor-made for your team

Each team brings a different starting point. That's why the collaboration begins with a detailed briefing.

What are the team's concerns? What, if anything, should change?
What would really be different at the end of the collaboration?

Based on this, I design the appropriate framework. This could be a focused one-day workshop on high-performing teams, a format on communication and collaboration, or support over several sessions.

If it fits the objective, outdoor and nature elements can also be part of the format – not as classic team building, but as a space for reflection and exchange.

Reflection instead of frontal teaching

I deliberately use very little traditional front-of-house teaching. Because I'm not a trainer.

Models and input can be helpful – however, the focus is on the team's self-reflection.

We reflect on specific situations, question existing patterns, listen to different perspectives, and develop new impulses for collaboration.

My training at INSEAD, especially the Advanced Programme in Coaching Groups, has deepened my understanding of psychodynamic group processes and the dynamics of teams.

At the same time, I bring more than 25 years of experience from the international business world. I combine these two perspectives in my work.

Who is this offer suitable for?

For leadership teams and teams that want to consciously develop their collaboration. For example, for teams that

  • want to strengthen their collaboration as a leadership team

  • want to improve their communication and mutual understanding,

  • want to make better use of different personalities and perspectives,

  • reorganize or face change,

  • or reflect on their collaboration with regard to high-performing teams.

This is how your team journey is created

01 – Briefing

We clarify the situation, the question, and the desired result.

02 – Concept

I develop the appropriate workshop or development process and select the suitable methods.

03 – Collaborative work

We reflect, discuss and work on the specific topics of the team.

04 – Transfer

The findings are translated into everyday life and tested there.

05 – Follow-up

We reflect on practical experiences and further develop our collaboration.

Sustainable development requires moving from the workshop to everyday life.

Why Boris Brändli? - Experience, not just method

I don't just know leadership from the outside.

I myself have over 25 years of experience in the international corporate environment and have held leadership positions in international HR for many years. Most recently, I was Head of People & Culture for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at a DAX-listed company.

I know the reality in which leadership takes place.

The complexity.
The change.
The pressure.
The differing interests.
The political areas of tension.
And the responsibility of guiding people through all of that.

As an INSEAD-certified Executive Coach, I combine my own leadership experience with professional coaching. My aim is not to impose my solutions on you. My role is to create a space where you can view your situation from a different perspective, question your thinking, and develop your own answers.
